Native American Flute * 10a – 11a

Wakamatsu Farm – The Native American flute is considered an important instrument in many Native American cultures. It is often seen as a spiritual instrument that has the power to connect people with the natural world and the spirits. For many tribes, the flute is considered a symbol of peace and harmony. The instrument is often used in ceremonial and healing rituals, and its soothing and meditative sounds are believed to have the power to calm the mind and bring about a sense of tranquility and inner peace. Your guide, Greg Kiefer, has been playing since 2011 and enjoys teaching others. He also composes music on the flute and piano (link available at registration site). Age minimum: 10+. Meeting location Gold Hill/Placerville area. Suggested Donation: $5/members, $10/non-members. A detailed email will be sent once you register online.
